Blue Eye ~ During my visit to Florida my family rented a pontoon boat for four hours and we rode around the Indian River (Inland Water Way) as well as Sebastian River just enjoying the sights and seeing some wildlife, including my first Manatee. As the evening sun was getting low in the sky we stopped at one of the very small islands in the river. After hopping off the boat I saw a White Ibis feeding in the shallows in some perfect light. I was glad I had my camera with me so I got down in the sand a took a few photos. This one turned out to be one of my favorite White Ibis photos from the entire trip, I really like how the eye color mostly matched the water color.
